Music
In Trinity's Church Music Program, students are trained with instruction in modern techniques and tools. Private instruction is provided by published artists and arrangers who perform regularly themselves. Use your talents in some of the many performance venue opportunities conducted in various styles each week.
Key Courses
MUS101-102, MUS201-202 Music Theory
These courses introduce basic musical elements of melody, harmony, and formal structure through analysis and part writing, including intervals, key signatures, non-chord tones, scales, cadences, phrase structure, diatonic harmony, and rhythmic notation. The courses then progress through the study of harmonic progressions, form and analysis, and modulation.

This course is a study of the currently available resources and techniques
employed by worship leaders in both large and small congregations. Consideration

early development of a worship and music program, including resources for church
planting and portable environments.

group combinations, accompanied by piano and instrumental ensembles. Its focus
is on arranging for amateur as well as semi-professional ensembles.
