Trinity Baptist College Director of Athletics John D. Jones announced the addition of baseball as the newest varsity program to be sponsored by the Eagles growing NCCAA athletic program.
The TBC Men’s NIT Basketball Team has been ranked #1 for the third week in a row via the SBC NIT Coaches’ Poll. They currently hold a 13-3 record as we come down the home stretch for the SBC NIT National Tournament. 
Last month, the men’s and women’s basketball teams from Trinity Baptist College traveled to Charlotte, NC to volunteer at the Operation Christmas Child distribution center. The teams were travelling to Winston-Salem to play a region game at Piedmont International, and stopped on their way to assist in the effort. Read More

The TBC men’s basketball team went down to the Trinity Rescue Mission recently to share the Gospel and help serve the evening meal. Coach Pat Milligan preached during the worship service and several people responded to the message. Coach Jones and Coach Brown, as well as several staff members were on hand to counsel the many that came forward to receive Christ.
Several members of the Trinity Baptist College men’s soccer team gathered early on Saturday morning January 12th to participate in the 2013 Run for Shelter 5k race. The race is an annual fundraising event to support the work of the Trinity Rescue Mission in downtown Jacksonville.
The TBC men's basketball team hosted Robert Morris University (IL) on Tuesday night and came away with a 74-72 victory in overtime. The 7th ranked Eagles improve to 14-4 on the season.
The TBC Lady Eagles advance to 16-4 this week with wins against Wesleyan College and Piedmont International University and one loss to Southeastern University. Leading the Eagles with three more double doubles, the dynamic duo Nicole Collins and Valerie Leland, fought hard on the boards to keep the Lady Eagles advancing.

Trinity’s men’s varsity basketball team is a collection of gifted athletes as well as vibrant personalities. Three examples of this are the team captain, Zach Potter, TJ Moreland, a fan favorite, and Taylor Harmon, an incoming freshman. Exciting as these players are on the court, it is fascinating to get to know these players individually.

I am so incredibly thankful for TBC and Pastor Messer. The staff at TBC truly has a heart to help the alumni in ministry. It was during my time at TBC that I began to develop my own convictions about ministry and life in general. It is difficult to communicate what the Lord has taught me over the last 10 years in ministry.
One of our newer faculty members, Mrs. Bethany Crawford, is helping out with our Fine Arts area. She has started some brand new traditions here at Trinity and brought back some old ones. Jenny Stanley sat down with Mrs. Crawford to find out a little about what she has planned for this year and what her vision is for the future.

Trinity Baptist College’s new Alumni Director is Jennifer Stanley. Jennifer is a 2004 graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and is married to Trinity’s Dean of Students, Jeremiah Stanley.
Next Monday will begin our annual training for the Resident Assistants (RAs). Faculty InService also begins on Tuesday. The RAs play a very vital role in our student body. They serve as a liaison between the students and the Student Services office.
As I mentioned last week, we have been working on several changes for the upcoming college year. One of those changes concerns our approach to student discipline. Over the summer, the college administration has met on several occasions to discuss revisions to the Student Handbook.
This summer has been very busy so far and I just wanted to share a few things that we are working on for the upcoming year. It is amazing to see how God works and I am confident that He is doing some great things here at Trinity. Even though the beginning of a new college year is over a month away we have been very busy gearing up for it. My goal over the next few weeks is to share a few details concerning changes and improvements that you can expect to see this fall.

Last week, students of Trinity Baptist College took their midterm exams, marking the halfway point to the end of the semester. Trinity Baptist College’s newest, traveling singing group just ended their tour last Sunday, May 19. Throughout their 3-week summer tour, the group sang at 14 churches, 3 conferences, 3 youth events and 5 high schools. Under the direction of Erika Judd and Warren Holmes, Lifesong officially began last January, but did not start traveling until March 9th. ...
Summer classes are in full swing for Trinity Baptist College and over one hundred students are taking advantage. TBC is offering 13 fast tracks, which began May 5th and will run until July 3rd. Students are also offered 11 summer classes, which are divided between two sessions throughout the summer. For many, summer classes are a way to catch up or get ahead in their endeavor to graduate.

Last week Trinity hosted the annual Youth Conference. With hundreds of teens and their leaders arriving from as far as Rhode Island, the energy could be felt by everyone.
