Trinity Baptist College is excited to welcome The Nelons as Artists in Residence.  The Nelons are relocating their ministry from Atlanta, Georgia to Jacksonville to partner with us here for the sake of the gospel. Jason brings years of gospel music experience both as a singer and songwriter as well as a producer. Kelly has travelled extensively throughout her career as a solo artist and member of The Nelons, which her father, the late Rex Nelon, founded over 40 years ago.  Amber, their oldest daughter who also is a member of the vocal group will be enrolling for classes at Trinity Baptist College this fall.  Autumn, their youngest daughter will be enrolling in Trinity Christian Academy.

They will be partnering with our ministries on multiple levels from appearances in our weekend worship services to private vocal and music instruction throughout the week, as well as strategically partnering with our college in recruiting efforts and clinical instruction.

They will be moving the first week of August and we look forward to hosting a “homecoming” concert for them on Sunday, August 30th in both our morning and evening worship services.  I know you will join me in helping The Nelons feel “at home” right from day one.  We look forward to what God has in store in the months and years to come through our ministry partnership with the Nelons.
